A Relação do Homem com o Tempo

” O tempo é um fator muito limitante – visto que é uma criação resultante da limitação. Trata-se de um fragmento de uma dimensão mais ampla e mais livre da experiência. Enfatizo mais uma vez: essa limitação não é “dada” ao homem, nem o homem é “inserido nela”. Em vez disso, é o resultado do pensamento falho e limitado do homem, de conceitos errôneos, ignorância, dualidade com seus conceitos divididos, conflitos, confusão e antagonismo. Entretanto, mesmo nessa limitação, o homem tem uma grande oportunidade de crescer e se desenvolver, realizar-se, vivenciar a vida de maneira abundante e feliz. Quanto mais ele faz isso, mais rompe a barreira do tempo.Emoções negativas, nesta esfera de consciência, quase invariavelmente indicam tempo não aproveitado. Sempre que o homem está infeliz ou perturbado de alguma maneira, surgem as emoções negativas. A infelicidade sempre se ocupa da vida se esvaindo e deixando o indivíduo para trás de mãos vazias. Se a irrevocabilidade não fosse pressuposta, ou temida, a infelicidade não existiria. Medo do desconhecido, da morte, também estão relacionados ao caráter efêmero do tempo. Quando a vida termina antes de ser consumada e vivida em sua totalidade, isso é difícil de suportar. Se não houver futuro, isso é assustador. O vago sentimento e o medo de que o tempo seja limitado cria um tipo especial de tensão.
Todas as pseudossoluções, que se esquivam e evitam o medo de viver na dor e no sofrimento, não seriam tão precárias e repletas de ansiedade se o homem contasse com a certeza de que tem um tempo ilimitado à sua disposição. Portanto, o homem aspira por livrar-se dessa limitação, “o tempo”. Debate-se exatamente como um cão força a coleira. O tempo o mantém sob as garras da limitação. O inconsciente tem a memória da maravilhosa experiência de atemporalidade de onde veio. Tenta encontrar o caminho de volta para essa liberdade sem limites. Isso pode ser feito, até certo ponto, bem aqui e agora mesmo, primeiro aceitando, em vez de se debatendo contra a limitação, e aproveitando na totalidade cada fragmento da experiência. A aceitação total de cada fragmento de tempo significa viver no presente. “
