Saber que cada um de nós é o Ser por baixo do pensador, a serenidade por baixo do barulho mental, o amor e a alegria por baixo da dor, significa liberdade, salvação e iluminação.
Pôr fim à identificação com o sofrimento do corpo é trazer a presença para o sofrimento e, assim, transformá-lo. Pôr fim à identificação com o pensamento é ser o observador silencioso dos próprios pensamentos e atitudes, em especial dos padrões repetitivos gerados pela mente e dos papés desempenhados pelo ego.
Se paramos de injetar “auto-suficiência” na mente, ela perde sua qualidade compulsiva, que é o impulso para julgar e, desse modo, criar uma resistência ao que é, dando origem a conflitos, tragédias e novos sofrimentos. Na verdade, no momento em que paramos de julgar, no instante em que aceitamos aquilo que é, ficamos livres da mente e abrimos espaço para o amor, para a alegria e para a paz. “
